We have gradually become a more international club, with several members who are not fluent in Swedish and who prefer to use English. To better welcome guest students, researchers, newly arrived migrants, and other international players, we are now launching an English-language page in English.
Our ambition is to be the central hub for chess in Uppsala – open to everyone, from elite players to complete beginners, to all ages, genders, and nationalities.
While not all of our information will be available in both Swedish and English, we will do our best to support those who prefer English. And with modern translation tools such as Google Translate or AI services like ChatGPT, it is easier than ever to access information in your preferred language.
